  R.J. Lloyd started off as a romance writer under another pen name. However, R.J. is the side of this award winning, best selling author that delves into fantasy, sci-fi, supernatural, paranormal, dystopian and all things action, steamy and spooky that she loves so much.

She pretty much always has two or more manuscripts in progress at any given moment and usually has one story in progress that steals her attentions enough to be distracting most days.

A Detroit area based author, R.J. writes both novels and short stories, always looking for the next interesting and slightly off kilter character and story to follow on an adventure.  But on a personal level, she is a fairly private person for the most part and leads a life of bohemian quirkiness, travels whenever she can and is an avid lover of books, movies and music. She takes on too many projects and loves her very small inner circle fiercely.

Her travels have included much of The States, some of Canada and parts of England,  Scotland, Ireland, France and Germany. And if you think that's extensive, you should see her music, movie and book collections!

Geek, nerd, dork - These are just a few terms she will answer proudly to. These as well as Teacup since it's her nickname, being a mere 4'9".

As one fan once said, "You write such tall tales for such a small woman."

That, she will never argue with.
